Quilter’s Co-op

       The Quilter's Co-op provides donations to the center as well as socializing for many of our seniors.

       We meet on Wednesday & Friday mornings, from 9:00am to Noon, and do hand-quilting on consignment.  Quilts are brought to us by customers, and stretched on two large quilting frames.  Our reputation for fine workmanship at reasonable prices has brought in customers from Austin, San Antonio, Pipe Creek, Fredericksburg, and Ingram.

       Customers are asked to bring in their completed quilt top, batting, lining and thread.  We will make suggestions and give price quotes free of charge.  The proceeds from our work are donated back to the Center to support operations. 

       If you would like to join us - please do!  Beginners or experienced quilters are always welcomed!  Just come by one Wednesday or Friday and get quilting! 

 

Barbara Ashlock & Friends Oil Painting:  Come and learn from one of the 'masters' and have a great time!  We meet on Tuesdays from 1 to 4pm.

 

Beginning & Intermediate Oil Painting:  Come and improve your skills in a supportive and fun atmosphere. Instructor Zella McLemore will have you painting in no time!  Join her on Wednesdays at 1pm or Thursdays at 9am.

Crafters Co-Op:  We make items to sell in the "House of Bargains" resale shop, and also Christmas decorations.  Join us on Tuesdays from 9am to Noon.
